What needs to be taken off and how?How do you change a front wheel bearing on a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse?Take the axle nut off with an impact wrench and a 34mm impact socket. Remove the brake caliper. Remove the tie rod end from the knuckle. Remove the strut from the knuckle. Then pull the axle out of the wheel bearing. Unbolt the hub assembly, knock it out of the knuckle and install the new hub assembly in reverse order.
