Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?
I really need to change the brake rotors, is there somekind of special tool to take this locknut off or is there a trick to turning it?Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?Once you get the small plate off with the two small screws the nut will be exposed. On the nut you will see two holes, just get a punch and stick it in one of the holes and use a hammer and tap it counter clockwise, you dont need any special tools for that.Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?remove cotter key.Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup? Some tool websites indicate that there is a special socket with 2 or 4 tabs that extend from the sockets end. I assume the tabs engage with some part (washer or shim or something) that make it necessary to have this particular tool.
